Yogurt with apricot and banana

Bananas make perfect instant baby food and they combine well with many other fruits like peaches, mangos, blueberries and strawberries. They are easy to digest, unlikely to cause an allergy and good for the treatment of constipation and diarrhoea. Babies need more fat in their diet than adults so don’t give them low fat yogurt.

Ingredients

2tbsp chopped, dried apricots
3tbsp water
2tbsp Rachel’s Organic natural bio-live yogurt
1 medium size ripe banana

Method

Put the apricots into a pan, cover with the water, bring to a simmer and cook over a low heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Put in a blender together with the yogurt and the sliced banana and blend to a purée.
