Funky face masks
Need an instant pick-me-up? Milk and yogurt have skin softening and soothing benefits that work wonders on out of condition skin. Try one of these quick to do treats:
- Blend 1 tsp. organic yogurt with 2 tsp. full fat milk with two drops lavender oil, smooth over clean dry skin and relax for 10 minutes before rinsing off.
- Oily skin? Cucumber is a natural astringent: peel ½ cucumber, slice and mash through a sieve or smooth in a blender. Mix with ½ cup Organic Natural Whole Milk yogurt and massage lightly over skin for 5-10 minutes. Splash off with warm water.
- If skin is sensitive, blend together 1 tsp. Organic Cream with 2 tsp. water and a pinch of sea salt. Smooth paste over skin and leave for 10 minutes, then rinse off.
Beauty savers
- Calm the inflammation of a post by soaking a small piece of bread in Organic Fresh Milk and pop over problem area. Leave for 10 minutes before rinsing off.
- Treat a dry flaky scalp by massaging over a cup full of Organic Natural Whole Milk yogurt into dry scalp for 15 minutes. Rinse away any flaky residue and shampoo hair as normal.
- Cleanse and brighten dry skin by adding a tablespoonful of lemon juice to a small carton of Organic Whole Milk yogurt and work into face and neck with fingertips. Rich in vitamin A, skin helps to nourish skin overnight.
- Over-done the sun? Organic Whole Milk yogurt makes an excellent skin soother. Apply to affected areas to take the heat out of sore spots.
